We made it to Kodaikanal by 12 noon, checked in to Greenland Youth Hostel which offers great panoramic views of the Plains of Theni and sheer drop of Kodaikanal Ranges. We planned to drop into the Observatory, but since it was Wednesday, it was closed! It was a sad start. We progressed further en route stopping at Pine Tree valley.

We continued further stopping at all the view points as I was more interested in snapping photographs at all the viewpoints. Though the photos weren't coming great in my N73, I was more than happy to be at this place. We stopped by the Pillar Rocks View Point, The Green valley View point, the sheer drop here amazed us.

As the day was nearing its end, we stopped by the very beautiful Kodaikanal Lake to savor some spicy delicacies and chocolates and a refreshing cup of hot tea.
